The Sesi Meeting of Performing Arts happens since 1991 in the city of Araxá (Minas Gerais state). It is a space for practice and thinking about the unfolding of Brazilian’s contemporary theater and dance. Its format embraces two projects: Festsesi, focused on the current dance trends; and Mostrará, which seeks to design new directions for theater through the performances of national groups with innovative language researches.

Through training workshops given by renowned teachers aimed at professionals, students and hobbyists, the Meeting also addresses the performing arts by its didactic bias.
